Size matters

Has anyone noticed that some of the parking spaces at Trader Joe’s aren’t big enough for anything larger than a golf cart?

I think that they painted the lines with the specific number required by the code, but didn’t bother to check whether or not they were all able to accommodate a regular vehicle.

I drive a Corolla and can’t get my car into some of those spaces because they’re too narrow. If I park, I can’t open the door to get out and neither can my passenger. Who marked these and who didn’t inspect these properly?

They complied with the letter of the law, and ignored the fact that spaces should be wide enough for people to actually park to shop there. Remember: Size matters.
