The Saugus High School dance team, pictured above, will host a clinic for local students on Nov. 14.

The 20 members of the six-time national award-winning dance team from Saugus High School will host a dance clinic for boys and girls in grades K-12 from 2 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 14 at the Saugus High School gym.

No dance experience is necessary.

Each child will receive a T-shirt and will learn dance techniques and a routine that they will perform for family and friends at the end of the day. The donation fee of $25 (when registering by Nov. 7) or $30 thereafter includes a T-shirt, pizza, drinks, dancing, games and hairstyling and makeup for those interested. A registration form is available on the team Web site at under “Documents.”

Those interested in attending can also call Terie Stokes at (661) 297-2604. Walk-ins are also welcome.
Funds from the clinic will provide support for team’s competition entry fees, costumes, choreographers and coaches, props and equipment.

This year’s team includes Captain Karissa Petersen, Co-Captains Kellie Janeski and Darla MacDonald, seniors Erika Fisher and Gianna Mascari, juniors Jessica Breneman, Nicole Callas, Victoria Friedman, Courtney Robbins, Haley Slaten, Tamara Sosa and Shea Tinsley, sophomores Jenny Gross, Ali Naranjo and Megan Stokes and freshmen Meagan Foertsch, Taylor Friedman, Roxanna Haserjian, Katie Lin and Ian Waschak.
