A Santa Clarita woman accused of hurling a flower pot at a woman's head and kicking out the back window of a sheriff's patrol car while drunk over the weekend was being held in lieu of $30,000 bail Monday, authorities said.

Deputies arrested Amanda Rosanne Gurrola, 29, of Santa Clarita early Saturday in Castaic on suspicion of vandalism and assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury. The woman allegedly hit with the flower pot was taken to a local hospital with a gash on her forehead, a Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station report said.

Late Friday or early Saturday, a man and a woman took Gurrola to their apartment in the 27600 block of Violin Canyon Road after she allegedly became drunk at a bar the three of them were attending, the report stated.

The man and woman told deputies Gurrola started yelling at them and taking off her clothes to swim in the apartment complex pool, according to the report.

About 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, the apartment residents reportedly told Gurrola to sit on the couch and sleep off the intoxication. Gurrola allegedly became angry and threw a flower pot at the woman's head, the report said.

The two residents told deputies the man held down Gurrola until deputies arrived, according to the report.

As deputies spoke with the man and woman, Gurrola allegedly kicked out the rear passenger side window of the patrol car, where she was lying down in the backseat, the report stated.
