The MOMS Club of Canyon Country, south will hold a bake sale at Lombardi Ranch on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Proceeds of the bake sale will be donated to the education fund of Elizabeth (age three) and Joey Strote (age 18 months).

Their mother, Liza Jennifer Strote, died suddenly of a massive heart attack on Oct. 9 at the age of 29. She is also survived by her husband, John Charles Strote, who is setting up the educational fund for his two children.

"I was very touched when I heard Liza's story, and our MOMS Club jumped at the chance to help a family in our community." said Colleen OLear, Administrative Vice President of the MOMS Club of Canyon Country, south.

Lombardi Ranch is located at 29527 Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus 91390. The bake sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will also be a collection jar for anyone wishing to make a general donation towards the Strote kids' education fund. Checks can be made out to John Strote.
