Berger adds Sheriff's Association endorsement

The Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff’s has endorsed Mike Berger for Seat No. 1, of the Santa Clarita Community College District Board of trustees, which governs College of the Canyons.

Berger has also been endorsed by Santa Clarita Valley Congress of Republicans, Assemblyman Cameron Smyth, Santa Clarita Councilwoman Laurene Weste, Councilman Bob Kellar, Councilwoman Marsha McLean, the College of the Canyons Faculty Association, the college’s California School Employees Association, COC trustee Bruce Fortine, College the Canyons, COC trustee Ernie Tichenor and Gloria Mecado-Fortine, board member for the William S. Hart Union High School District.

Berger is in a race against Brian Koegle, John Dortch and Robin Bryce for Seat No. 1 on the COC board.
