Santa Clarita city officials are scheduled to give a presentation on all of the development projects currently proposed in and around the city at a Canyon Country Advisory Committee meeting on Wednesday.

A representative of developer Vista Canyon Ranch LLC will provide a presentation on the Vista Canyon Ranch project that will be located in an area of Canyon Country just outside the city limits.

The 217-acre development would bring 1,200 to 1,600 residential units, up to 1.5 million square-feet of commercial use and a Metrolink station off of Via Princessa, on the east side of Highway 14.

The developer is seeking annexation into the city of Santa Clarita and city planners expect the environmental impact report to go before the city Planning Commission and the City Council this fall.

The Canyon Country Advisory Committee meeting is planned from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Activity Center Banquet Room at the Santa Clarita Sports Complex at 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway in Canyon Country.
