Talented female artists perform this Friday night at Antioch Art Connection in Newhall.

Talented women artists, Elite Members of GoGirlsMusic, will entertain on Friday night, Oct. 16, at Antioch Art Connection, 24422 Chestnut St., in Newhall. The show, with family friendly Americana/folk/country/pop/blues from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., will feature a half-dozen southland artists, including Trish Lester, Evonne Rivera, Genevieve, Natalie Kaye Arazi, Kat Blackwell and Kelly's Lot. Admission is free and open to the public. The first 50 people in the door will receive a free compilation CD, full of varied, high-energy music from talented GoGirlsMusic Elite members.

One of multiple concerts comprising the 10th Annual GoGirlsMusicFest (, the Santa Clarita show is part of a nationwide charitable effort. These concerts, in major cities across the nation during October and November, will raise awareness and money for maternity homes. Two Southern California maternity homes - Sarah's House in Simi Valley ( and Angels Way in Canoga Park ( - will directly benefit from the Santa Clarita concert. These organizations provide shelter, guidance and encouragement to homeless, single expectant mothers. While there is no admission fee, concert-goers are encouraged to bring items needed by the young women at these homes, such as disposable diapers, wet wipes, personal care items, baby clothes, etc.

Local businesses that wish to donate products or services for on-site opportunity drawings to support this charitable cause should contact Trish Lester, who is not only singing, but also hosting the event. Trish Lester can be reached at (661) 254-1242 or via her Web site,
