CSEA endorses Michael Berger for COC post Nov. 3

The Local 725 Chapter of the California School Employees Association (CSEA) at College of the Canyons (COC) has endorsed Michael Berger for election to Seat No. 1 in the Nov. 3 Santa Clarita Community College District election.

The COC chapter is comprised of over 200 classified employees working in a variety of highly skilled positions (i.e. computer programmmers, technicians, instructional aids, and academic advisors).

CSEA bases its support of Berger on his 20-year record of service on the COC Foundation Board of Directors, his proven commitment and dedication to COC, his educational and community Leadership, and his alumni status.

CSEA feels strongly that during these challenging economic times, it is crucial that Trustees are qualified and have a record that demonstrates a willingness to be open and listen to the perspectives of all interests who share the goal of to providing quality education for our community. Mike Berger is such a person.
