Gutzeit secures endorsements for NCWD re-election

Newhall County Water District board member Maria Gutzeit has received several endorsements in her re-election bid.

Gutzeit has gotten nods from Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich, California Assemblyman Cameron Smyth and Santa Clarita City Councilman Bob Kellar.

Gutzeit has also received the backing of local environmental leaders Henry Schultz and Sandra Cattell, as well as Al Ferdman of the Canyon Country Advisory Committee are some of the many community members standing behind Gutzeit. Organizational endorsements include the Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Industrial Association.

An environmental engineer and local business owner, Gutzeit was first elected to NCWD in 2003 and re-elected in 2005.
