Judge isn't God

With God as my judge or as we have to say in California, U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker as our judge, I'm writing about a story in The Signal Aug. 20.

Walker says he wants a federal lawsuit challenging California's same-sex marriage ban to go to trial on Jan. 11, 2010.

After voting on a subject on two different occasions we still have to have a federal judge to tell us how to live our lives?

I really don't understand where this power comes from, that a judge can tell the population of a state their votes don't count.

Isn't anybody sick and tired of the ACLU trying to force the people of California into their way of thinking?

I would lay money on the outcome of the trial; of course the gays will win. The judge already knows what the people of California want. So why would he bother to go to trial if he was not planning on changing it?

The laws of nature are God's laws. Man and woman were created as male and female for a reason. They were intended by God to procreate.

This is what populates the world we live in. Does a judge think he is going to change this?
