What’s the cost?

Bush wins the 2000 election by a hiccup and a hair and pure, undiluted corruption. Not a peep of protest from conservatives. Cost? Six thousand U.S. lives and $700 billion (Iraq and Afghanistan, 2002-08).

Bush spearheads mind-boggling tax cuts for the rich, while the middle class shrinks and number of people with the lowest income grows between 2001 and 2008.

Again, no protest from conservatives. Cost? Two and a half trillion dollars of lost revenue since 2002 from the top 5 percent richest taxpayers.

Obama gives a speech encouraging school-age children in America to work hard, overcome obstacles and stay in school.

Cost? More moronic ramblings of fearful idiotic conservatives and some kids get to take the day off as if they were hiding from the swine flu. Priceless!

Every month since January 2009, there's more delicious turmoil within the Republican Party.

It's like watching a box full of cockroaches implode in full crazy, sort of like after a stink bomb's been dropped in their midst.

(Oh, my God, a black man's trying to shove affordable, available, fair and equal health care down our throats! Eeeehhh! Oh, my God, now he's actually talking to our children. Stop him! Eeeehhh! Oh, my God, he wasn't born in the U.S. of A., but in some far-away Muslim sanctuary called Oahu!)

You guys keep it up. Somebody's gonna come and put a tight-fitting white jacket on the collective lot of you and it won't have a zipper.
