B&B company hosts job fair
B & B Manufacturing will host a job fair on Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Valencia company, 27940 Beale Court, is a provider of manufacturing solutions to the aerospace, military and automotive industries. During the job fair, applicants will be able to meet the management staff, tour the building and possibly interview with hiring managers.

Factory MX plans grand opening
Factory MX, a motorcycle shop that specializes in motocross, street and ATV gear, parts and accessories, will hold a grand opening celebration on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its new location in Canyon Country.

The event will feature representatives from motorcycle industry companies, product displays and a raffle. There will also be an opportunity to join the youth motocross team that is currently being formed. Factory MX is at 18352 Soledad Canyon Road.

VIA luncheon to focus on labor
Complying with federal employment laws will be the topic of discussion during the Valley Industrial Association's monthly luncheon, set for May 20 at 11:30 a.m.

The luncheon, to take place at the Hyatt Valencia, will feature Judy Penman, senior benefits advisor and outreach coordinator, and Wendy Morgan, coordinator of the voluntary fiduciary correction program for the U.S. Department of Labor.

The presentation will include an introduction to the Employee Benefits Security Administration, a compliance programs overview and practical tips for reducing complaints made to the Department of Labor.
