Sheriff's deputies broke up several fights and arrested three men around 1 a.m. Saturday at the Plaza Theater in Newhall.

Deputies initially responded to reports of a gun sighting at a lingerie and pajama party with more than 100 attendees, said Santa Clarita Sheriff's Lt. Mark Hershey.

Deputies did not find a gun, but several fights ensued inside and outside of the party, Hershey said.

Neil Simmonds, 19, of Valencia, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly picked up a pylon-like object and threw it through the window of the man, Hershey said.

Miguel Munoz, 22, of Saugus, was taken into the Sheriff's Station on suspicion of battery after he allegedly punched a woman.

The woman fell to the ground, hit her head on the cement and was transported to the hospital, Hershey said.

Deputies also arrested Frederick Illian, 24, of Saugus, for felony vandalism.
