Decoro re-restriping

Wow, I am so glad to hear that the city is going to re-restripe Decoro Drive.

In this flourishing economy, I know they must be looking for places to spend the money that's just stacking up, and re-doing a job that has already been done is a great place to start.

Although I did enjoy the added safety and slower speeds on Decoro for a few weeks it will be nice to get back to the two-lane race track.

People will once again be able to race to the next light at 70 miles per hour, oblivious to the family walking or riding bikes just a few feet away from them.

I was hoping the buffer between the bike lane and the speeding cars could be shortened, I want the guy talking on the phone while speeding by in his jacked-up F-350 to be as close to my family as possible.

It's exhilarating!

Going back to two lanes is sure to cut down on the massive traffic that was backing up for miles during rush hour the past couple weeks.

It must have taken me two whole minutes to get from McBean to Vista Delgado the other day. Unacceptable.

I am sure glad that the few people who complained about it were able to speak for everyone and that people who liked the new traffic pattern kept it to themselves.

Besides, it's all about getting to where you are going in the least amount of time, right?

Until you're the one that runs over the 6-year-old.
