It was amazing to read "Are you a nut job?" by Bruce McFarland (The Signal, Aug. 24), the intellectual axis of the Democrat Party in Santa Clarita.

Here's Bruce' definition of a nut job: "A nut job is someone who believes and repeats something he or she sees or hears, without question, despite indisputable evidence to the contrary."

In his article, he goes through a list of what he thinks you may think about several timely political subjects and concludes you are "a nut job" if you disagree with him on any of them.

But never does Bruce refer to any "indisputable evidence" to support his positions. He just believes what he has heard ... from his Democrat sources.

But the part of Bruce's article I enjoyed the most was his opening paragraph: "Please sit down, relax, take a few minutes and ask God for the courage to hear and accept the truth." If you do, Bruce actually believes God will reveal to you that his article is entirely the truth.

Reminds me of Obama's recent statement to a group of rabbis that "We are God's partners in matters of life and death." So now Obama is going to be a partner with God in deciding who lives or dies. What's bothersome is Obama thinks he's the senior partner.

But now I'm wondering. Does God like Bruce better than Obama or Obama better than Bruce?

If you really want to hear "indisputable evidence," do listen to Rush Limbaugh and watch FOX news. You know, there is a reason Bruce doesn't want you to do so.
