One talented winner will get his or her "big break" at the FAME National Talent Search Finale, to be held at Six Flags Magic Mountain on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 4 p.m.

The finals are the culmination of a multi-city competition, held at six other Six Flags parks throughout the summer and one winner from MySpace.

Finalists from the earlier Six Flags competitions include singers, dancers, musicians and performers, all seeking their ticket to Hollywood and a life-changing grand prize.

The grand prize winner receives a $5,000 cash prize, a photo spread in OK! Magazine, a five-day/four-night trip to Hollywood to meet with a top talent agent and studio executive, and inclusion of the winning live performance in the FAME DVD.

All finalists will compete in front of a live audience and a panel of celebrity judges. Saturday's finals also include a special performance by V-Factory featuring FAME'S Asher Book who plays "Marco," a charismatic singer pursuing his dream and FAME'S Naturi Naughton.

Six Flags and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) have partnered for the release of FAME, a re-invention of the original Oscar®-winning film that follows a talented group of dancers, singers, actors and artists over four years at the New York City High School of Performing Arts.

The FAME National Talent Search finals competition is free with paid park admission and will take place in the Golden Bear Theater. For more information and a complete schedule of events, visit sixflags.com.

Six Flags Magic Mountain continues its commitment to provide better entertainment, better service and better value to its guests ... and is also close to home. For just $10 more than the price of a single day's admission ($63.99), thrill seekers and bargain hunters can get the best value-priced entertainment package with a 2009 Season Pass.

Not only will they enjoy the thrill park all day, every operating day - now - through the end of the 2009 season, but they will also get unlimited free concerts and special events, including Fright Fest weekends in October, and free admission to all Six Flags theme parks across the country.

Six Flags Magic Mountain is located at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway, Valencia, north of Los Angeles off Interstate 5 at the Magic Mountain Parkway exit. The park is open daily through Labor Day.
