However, somewhere along the way there was also a fistfight.
Nearly 80 kindergarten students from four classes Friday heard from a local firefighter, pilot and flight attendant during their classes.
They also got to participate in a demonstration by a local husband and wife who happen to be a stuntman and makeup artist.
Several students were picked to take part in a skit coordinated by Mark and Valerie Riccardi, said Bouquet Canyon teacher Christy Goss.
Several girls got to have makeup applied by Valerie Riccardi, and a group of several volunteers got to don costumes and take part in a "fistfight" scene with Mark Riccardi.
"They loved the action," Goss said.
Even though the students are young, Goss said career days are good because it gives the students a glimpse of people who serve the community, plus different future career options.
