LOS ANGELES- Santa Clarita-based fitness center Results Fitness, owned by Rachel and Alwyn Cosgrove, was just named by Men's Health magazine as one of America's Top 10 Gyms. Featured in the September issue of the national magazine, Results Fitness is the only Southern California gym to receive this honor.

A gym that focuses on actual member results instead of just membership numbers, Results Fitness achieves faster and better results for their clients by customizing individual programs, consisting of the appropriate amount of cardiovascular activity at the correct intensity and appropriate resistance training, specific to each client's goals and body type.

"Results Fitness is the model by which all gyms should be judged. I have said it a million times before, as far as knowledge, education, experience, and effectiveness, I would put their team of trainers up against any other gym's. Alwyn and Rachel Cosgrove are two of the most well-known and respected trainers in the country and they have built the best gym in the Santa Clarita Valley, hands down. If you're looking for results, this is the place," states Robert dos Remedios, MA, CSCS, Director of Speed, Strength & Conditioning at College of the Canyons and author of Power Training.

One thing you won't see inside Results Fitness is a treadmill, but instead clients performing circuit-training routines that build strength and endurance in one workout.

"You need cardio for fitness, health, and fat loss, but traditional cardio like running isn't the most effective option, and it's stressful on your joints," says Alwyn Cosgrove, C.S.C.S., co-owner of Results Fitness.

The correct combination of cardio and weightlifting, the highly qualified fitness coaches and encouraging atmosphere is what makes Results Fitness stand out from the rest in achieving optimal results.
