The County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation will present the inaugural William S. Hart Park "Music ‘n the Park" series" on Sundays from Sept. 6 to Sept. 20 from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the park picnic grounds, 24151 Newhall Ave., Newhall 91321.

The event is an excellent opportunity for regional artists and crafts persons to showcase and sell their creations on the picnic lawns at William S. Hart Park.

This is a call for artists and craft vendors (all medias), performers and amusements. In the spirit of this "Healthy Parks Initiative," space fees are artist and family friendly to encourage home crafters and home arts' vendors. Booth space is $35 per 10' x 15'.

The music in the park Sundays will feature music in many genres and family karaoke under the trees and on the lush lawns at Wm S. Hart Park.

Sunday, Sept. 6 will feature salsa, merengue, cumbias and karaoke in the park; Sept. 13 will feature pop, classic rock, oldies, country and karaoke in the park; and Sept. 20 will feature blues, jazz, R&B, oldies and karaoke in the park.

Music in the park is free to the public.
