Rancho Camulos offers tours
Docent led public tours are available without appointment February through November, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and year round by appointment. Rancho Camulos is a National Historic Landmark where the early California lifestyle is preserved in its original rural environment and was the setting for "Ramona," the 1884 novel by Helen Hunt Jackson that generated national interest in the history of Hispanic settlement in California and the impact on Native Americans. Suggested donation for the one hour tour is $5 for adults and $3 for children and students. The Museum is located on Highway 126, 10 miles west of the I-5 freeway in Piru. Start Smart class for teens at CHP
The Start Smart class is aimed at helping newly licensed drivers and future licensed teenage drivers become aware of the responsibilities that accompany the privilege of being a licensed California driver.
