Santa Clarita-based rock band The McGrath Project debuted its second CD with a live performance at The Knitting Factory in Hollywood Saturday night, Aug. 8.

Featuring leader Gary McGrath (guitar, vocals), Tim Bogert (bass; ex-Vanilla Fudge), Chet McCracken (drums, ex-Doobie Brothers) and Dean Minnerly (various instruments), The McGrath Project performed their new "Love is a Four Letter Word" album from front to back.

"We are having some special surprises and giveaways, belly dancers, free candy -- so you never know what could happen," McGrath said before the show.

The Knitting Factory is located at 7021 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood 90028. Phone (323) 463-0204.
