Comic goes too far

For the second week in a row, I have wondered if any of the editors at the Mighty Signal actually read the comics that are printed and delivered with the Sunday paper.

"Pearls Before Swine" is a mystery to me - who is the target audience? People bent toward violence and destruction?

Please refrain from printing comics that promote abuse and violence.

This is not Bugs Bunny, where the slapstick is not taken seriously. This is a distinct and apparent lack of tact and creativity.

Perhaps the author of the comic strip is interested in getting out of his contract and is testing whether anyone reads it at all.

Last week a character promoted suffocation - this week, bombing.
