Speak English

No disrespect, but when calling a company’s customer-service department, have you encountered a representative who can hardly speak English?

Very frustrating and time consuming in trying to communicate.  

The scenario goes something like this in your part of the conversation: “What did you say?” or “I don’t understand you!”

Your name is mispronounced and you end up with a new name. Again, no disrespect, but my nerves and time are important to me.  

To curtail this fiasco or this ridiculous failure in communication, demand to speak to someone in America who speaks English. You might get a hassle, but insist on the request.  

It is worth it to keep your sanity. This is one of the ways to keep and save jobs in America.

Another suggestion to “save jobs in America”: Avoid the automated checkout machines. They take away jobs from the cashiers and box boys where warranted.  

Keep America rolling with jobs, and keep America clean.
