After 24 years, I am amazed, sad and disgusted about the changes that have been going on with The Signal over the last several months. Where is The Signal, our local paper? Instead of a paper whose articles should be about what's happening in the SCV, I get a mess of here, there and everywhere. I will be changing papers when my subscription expires.

John Boston (Mr. SCV) is gone. By his disappearance, we no longer enjoy his witty and informative information about the SCV. What a huge mistake, which I'm sure was his. Mr. Boston was involved with so many sections of the paper, which is now just bland.

Craig Leener, the sports writer, seems to be gone, too. He combined "story" with a sense of humor. What
happened to him?

Then on to the new Escape. Most of it is the TV Guide (11 to 40 pages). The "News of the Weird" this week
about The Signal employees was not amusing at all, and "Strange but True" each week is a huge waste of space.

I am so disgusted with the whole paper that when I get my next bill (in which the paper has upped its rates but lowered its standards to the ultimate low), I will be changing over to another paper that gives us our SCV news and covers a lot more than what The Signal thinks is interesting enough to mix in with our local news.|

Somebody doesn't get it. What a shame. The only thing I look forward to anymore is the crossword puzzle.
