Los Angeles County firefighters are responding to a dirt road near Six Flags Magic Mountain, where a small plane reportedly landed.

The plane is about a half-mile south of the amusement park near Potrero Road, a fire official said.

A report of a small, propeller-driven plane down reportedly came in at about 12:50 p.m.

Firefighters initially found no crew or passengers on the scene, the Fire Department official said.

The plane's pilot apparently made a forced landing, and he and his passenger were uninjured, sheriff's Lt. Tom Bryski said early this afternoon.

"They walked away from it," Bryskisaid, and added the pair was walking for help when they were met by emergency personnel.
