International Space Station sighting Thursday

This week, residents of the Santa Clarita Valley will have two more chances to see the International Space Station.

On Thursday, July 9 at 4:25 a.m. and 8:49 p.m. the I-shaped Space Station will be visible from the SCV for five minutes each pass.

At 4:25 a.m., the station will approach from 10 degrees above northwest and depart at 12 degress above southeast.

In the afternoon, the station will approach from 10 degrees above west southwest and depart 11 degrees above north northeast.
