Santa Clarita voters chose Ender and Kellar in the April 8 Santa Clarita City Council election to fill the two expiring seats on the council.
Ender, who has served as a Parks and Recreation commissioner, will fill the seat belonging to Councilman TimBen Boydston. Boydston joined the council in 2006 to replace Cameron Smyth, who was elected to the state Assembly.
Boydston was appointed on the condition that he would not seek re-election when his term expired.
Kellar, who was first elected to the council in 2000, will maintain his position as mayor on the five-person council.
Council members serve four-year terms, and the city holds an election every two years to fill the two or three expiring seats.
City Manager Ken Pulskamp will make a special presentation to Boydston for his time on the council.
The special meeting is planned for 4:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall at 23920 Valencia Blvd.
