Single Mothers Outreach works to empower single parents toward self-sustainablility through their Life Skills workshops.

These workshops work on bringing practical information to parents in five main areas:
* Career and education development
* Financial literacy
* Health & wellness
* Healthy relationships
* Legal matters

SMO is currently forming a committee to help Program Director Cheryl Stabler plan these important classes.

This committee will help Stabler:
* Find speakers to teach a class in a given focus area
* Publicize event in local media outlets to help us get the word out to single parents living in the SCV.
* Create materials to promote event.
* Coordinate childcare needs (we provide free childcare and want to make this a fun experience for the children who attend.)
* Help set up, register, sign in attendees, and take children to childcare area.
* Plan the workshop calendar
* Gather supplies needed for the workshop
