Antonovich boosts sheriff's off-road vehicle enforcement

Antonovich has allocated $35,000 to purchase four motorcycles, a motorcycle trailer, and personal safety equipment for their off-highway vehicle enforcement program.

 
To protect Los Angeles County's natural resources and enforce laws pertaining to off-highway vehicles (OHVs), Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich has allocated $35,000 to the sheriff's COPS teams to purchase four motorcycles, a motorcycle trailer and personal safety equipment for the teams' off-highway vehicle enforcement program.

The equipment is being stored at the Palmdale station and will be used to provide OHV enforcement in the Crescenta Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and the Antelope Valley communities.
