Humans at fault

First, I want to compliment Mr. Frank Ray on his description of the world as we know it today ("Question of trust," Letters, The Signal, June 14).

It is easy for anyone reading the news to get depressed and fall into the state of mind of Mr. Ray.

He wants us to believe in evolution, that the apes first started everything.

We are descendants of the apes and that is why the world is in a mess.

No, thanks, Mr. Ray, I can't conceive the orbit the earth travels in as being designed by apes.

If you don't believe in God, I feel very sorry for you.

In spite of what you say, there is a lot of good in the world and it is being done by a lot of people who believe in God.

You say religion asks you not to question. You are wrong.

We see the world as a beautiful creation that only an all-knowing God could have created.

Sure, we have faith and we have history, the Bible and Jesus Christ to back it up.

God didn't create the mess in this world; human beings did.

God gave all of us brains to use and lessons by which to live, but we are the ones who fail to see the light.

It doesn't matter our education; some of our best educated are our worst offenders.

Professors, judges, politicians and the ACLU are the ones working to take God out of everything.

This is why our great country is in a mess.

God created a union between man and woman called marriage and they want to destroy it.

I pray with all my heart that the Santa Clarita City Council sticks to their guns and puts "In God We Trust" in the city's logo.
