Economic discrimination

While reading Carole Lutness' Opinion column about how "Corporations, super-wealthy must pay their fair share" (June 9), I have come to the conclusion that she and the left are discriminators.

Discrimination, according to Webster, is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things.

She blatantly blames the issue on corporations and the extreme wealthy.

This is ridiculous, and an outright showing of discrimination on her part, and the left's part.

Mind you, the extremely wealthy pay the most taxes and receive very little services.

Barack Obama calls for taxing the wealthy even more. The flat tax system is happening all over the world.

Ironically, half of the 16 countries that have adopted this system have been part a communistic/socialistic regime in their recent past, according to CATO.org. This should be the example that we adopt; it is fair to every citizen.

No politicians or op-ed writers can manipulate the majority of population against the minority being persecuted by progressive tax.

America was simply founded on equality for all men/women in all facets of life. Unfortunately taxes are the only accepted discrimination here in America. Our success creates the government, the government does not create our success.
