The bride-elect is the sister of Katie, Michelle, Becky and Jennifer Stift of Saugus. She was born in Valencia at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in 1985. She is a 2003 graduate of Saugus High School and a 2008 graduate of San Diego State University with a B.A. in Marketing Communications. She is employed by the Newhall School District.
The groom-elect is the son of David MacCulloch and Kathleen Marquart of Santa Clarita and the brother of David C. MacCulloch of South Carolina. He was born at St. Jude's Hospital in Fullerton in 1984 and is a 2002 graduate of Saugus High School. He is a 2007 graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a B.A. in Marketing and is employed as a Production Supervisor at Solid Concepts.
The couple became engaged April 4 in Boston, Mass. atop the Swan Bridge at the Boston Public Garden.
The couple, who have dated for five years, met in 2004 while both were working for the Saugus Union School District.
The couple are planning a wedding by the beach in October, 2010.
