"Adoption into God's Family" service
Who: Pastor Stan Fix at the Friendly Valley Community Church (United Methodist).
What: Fix will present the Sunday morning meditation, "Annie: Adoption into God's Family" as a part of the series, "Faith Goes to Broadway; Finding God's Redemption and Grace in Some of America's Best-loved Stories." The choir will present special music. Holy Communion will be celebrated. Fellowship and coffee after the service. All are welcome.

Camp fire stories of faith
Who: St. Stephen's Episcopal Church
What: Good old-fashioned camp fire in the St. Stephen's courtyard. A faith community shares stories of how, within individual lives, they have experienced moments of epiphany, awakening or illumination, in which they were brought closer to God, the church, brothers and sisters and nature. Bring a blanket, lounge chairs, and join in to listen or share. Refreshments and snacks provided.

Vacation bible school
Who:
First Baptist Church of Newhall
What: Vacation Bible School with theme "Boomerang Express." As kids wind their way across Australia, they'll discover the vastness of God's love, and they'll learn that no matter where they go or what they do in life - it all comes back to Jesus. Kids ages four through those entering sixth grade are invited. Cost is $10 per child, or $15 per family.
