"This is a great opportunity for interested community members to get involved beyond just buying a ticket, and learn the skills of improv from a group of well-trained performers," Philipson said.
The Second City has performed comedy for more than 45 years across America and has trained several comedians. Alumni of the group include John Belushi, Bill Murray, Mike Myers, Gilda Radner and Chris Farley.
Anyone interested in attending the master class should contact Adam Philipson, managing director of the performing art center, at (661) 362-5305.
