A motorcyclist collided with another vehicle on Bouquet Canyon Road Sunday about 2:22 p.m.

Four CHP units and an ambulance were on the way to 34643 Bouquet Canyon Road five minutes later.

"Looks like the motorcycle rider has a possible shoulder injury," said CHP Officer Jose Nunez about 2:40. He had no further details at that time.

U.S. Forestry officials on the scene at 2:50 reported the rider suffered minor injuries, scrapes to an elbow, and was up and walking around.

CHP units also began arriving at 2:50.

At 5:05 p.m., Officer Nunez said the motorcycle rider had actually suffered a minor elbow injury. The rider was treated at the scene and released, he said.

In other traffic activity, at 3:06 p.m., the CHP reported hazardous debris -- a mattress -- in the middle lanes of southbound Interstate 5 just north of Calgrove Blvd. A CHP unit was en route by 3:10 to pick it up. Nunez confirmed the hazard was removed shortly thereafter.

At 3:43 p.m. the CHP reported a vehicle in the center divider-carpool lane on northbound Highway 14 just north of Oak Spring Canyon Road. The vehicle had been moved off to the right shoulder by 4:23 p.m., Nunez said.

Vehicles were reported disabled in the center divider on northbound Highway 14 at Soledad Canyon Road at 4:40 p.m. and just north of Vasquez Rocks at 5:39 p.m. CHP officers responded to both calls.
