The northbound Interstate 5 off-ramp at Magic Mountain Parkway will be closed for construction of the ramp widening from Sunday, May 31 at 9 p.m. through Friday, June 19.

During the closure, motorists traveling on northbound I-5 will be able to access Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor theme parks, the Valencia Industrial Center, and Magic Mountain Parkway on the following suggested routes:

* Exiting McBean Parkway off-ramp, left turn on McBean Parkway, right turn on The Old Road to Magic Mountain Parkway;

* Exiting Valencia Boulevard off-ramp, left turn on Valencia Boulevard, right turn on The Old Road to Magic Mountain Parkway;

* Exiting Highway 126/Newhall Ranch Road, left turn on Highway 126 onto I-5 southbound to Magic Mountain Parkway exit.

All businesses in the area will remain open during these construction.

There will be detour signs posted for alternate routes along I-5 northbound at various strategic locations to access Magic Mountain Parkway.
