Supervisors to vote on condo plan

Amendment of a 22-year-old land-use plan that would allow the development of 165 condominiums in Canyon Country is up for a vote today by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

The Supervisors will decide whether to amend a land use plan established in 1986 that protects a property wedged between Via Princessa and Lost Canyon Road in Canyon Country from development.

If approved, the developer Pardee Homes would be allowed to build 165 condominiums on the 12.5-acre property directly southwest of the Via Princessa and Lost Canyon Road intersection.

The Board of Supervisors meets today at 9:30 a.m. in room 381-B in the Kenneth Hahn Hall Of Administration at 500 West Temple Street in Los Angeles.
