The county Department of Military and Veterans Affairs has opened a veterans service office in Newhall, designed to provide information and assistance with benefits and services.

Veterans and their families will be able to access information on matters including compensation for disabled veterans, medical and mental health care, educational benefits and more.

The office is located at 24271 Main St. in Newhall.
