Three assistant principals were appointed Wednesday by the William S. Hart Union High School District board members.
Francine dos Remedios will serve as assistant principal at Placerita Junior High School following Sharon Rathbun’s retirement earlier this year.

Dos Remedios is currently a consulting teacher in the Hart district’s Peer Assistance Review program.

Jason d’Autremont moves up to serve as assistant principal at Hart High School. He replaces Mark Crawford, who was promoted to principal at Sierra Vista Junior High School.

D’Autremont has been a special education teacher at Hart High School since 2003.

The board appointed Rich Bahr as an assistant principal at Saugus High School. He has served as the school’s interim assistant principal since September. Before his appointment, Bahr spent the last 15 years as a teacher.

“He has done an outstanding job as the fill-in assistant principal at Saugus,” said Rochelle Neal, assistant superintendent of human resources and student services.

All three start at their new positions July 1.

Also during the meeting, board members signed off on an early retirement incentive program for 47 certificated Hart district employees.
