This Memorial Day Weekend remember, nothing in Las Vegas is tax-deductible!

However, you can have all the fun of a Vegas-style evening right here in town, save on travel expenses (and enjoy the benefits of a charitable donation) by attending Congregation Beth Shalom's "Vegas in Valencia" on Saturday, May 23 from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Santa Clarita Activities Center.

"Vegas in Valencia" features food & drink, lively music and dancing, exciting gaming tables, and the opportunity to win fabulous prizes in the Silent Auction and End-of-Evening Raffle, such as museum and event tickets, dining certificates, travel excursions to Sydney, Australia, New York City plus a Broadway show, Monterey California with two rounds of golf, and more.

The Santa Clarita Activities Center is located at 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway in Santa Clarita 91350, in the George A. Caravalho Santa Clarita Sports Complex.

This year's "Vegas in Valencia" event also features a Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament with a $36 buy-in. Reserve your spot at a table today by calling (661) 254-2411.

Admission to "Vegas in Valencia" is $36 per person in advance (by May 8), or $45 at the door. Couples can purchase a "Chai Roller" package for $136, which includes admission for two, $2,000 additional "fun bucks," and 18 end-of-evening raffle tickets.

Gaming Table sponsorships ($200 for individuals and businesses) are still available and include the sponsors' name prominently displayed at the table and $2,000 in additional "fun bucks."

Food Table sponsorships ($100 for individuals and businesses) are also available and include the sponsors' name prominently displayed at the table and $1,000 in additional "fun bucks."

All proceeds from "Vegas in Valencia" will benefit Congregation Beth Shalom of the Santa Clarita Valley. Prizes and their descriptions are subject to change.
