A man arrested in Santa Clarita pleaded not guilty Monday to attempted murder charges stemming from a stabbing incident at Dodger Stadium, a District Attorney spokeswoman said.

Arthur Alvarez, 32, of Los Angeles, who attended the April 13 Los Angeles Dodger game, at Dodger Stadium, is accused of stabbing another man at the stadium several times during the game, said Shiara Davila, Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office spokeswoman press release. Alvarez reportedly fled in a black Ford pick-up, she said.

An arrest warrant was filed April 23, Davila said.

Los Angeles Police officers executed the arrest warrant on Thursday and captured Alvarez at a relative's home in Santa Clarita, she said.

Alvarez is due back in court May 14 in Dept. 32 of the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Los Angeles at 8:30 a.m. He is being held in lieu of $550,000.
