First place
My favorite book is "Marley: A Dog Like No Other." The characters in this story are John and Jenny who are married, and the kids they have - Carl and Colleen - and the crazy dog Marley. That's the characters.
This is what happens in the beginning. John and Jenny decide it is time for a dog. They went to a house where someone was selling puppies and they looked at the puppies. A puppy seemed to be crazy. It ran and crashed head first into John and Jenny. The lady who was selling puppies said he was on sale. So they bought him and would get him a few days later.
When they got Marley, John let Marley explore the garage and sleep in the garage. When John left, he heard Marley whimpering in the garage so he let Marley sleep with him. In the middle of the story, John and Jenny have kids and decide to take the whole family to a restaurant and they tied his leash to the table and he moved the table away from them.
When John and Jenny didn't have kids, they took Marley to the dog beach. The biggest rule over all the rules was no pooping in the water. Marley kept on drinking lots and lots of salt water and he threw up in the water. John was a little scared. He knew that the biggest rule of all was no pooping in the water.
Later they found out that Marley was going to be in the film or a movie. First they did want him in the film, then they didn't, then they did.
At the end of the story, John and Jenny got a call that Marley's stomach had twisted. A few days later they took Marley to the vet and Marley was put to sleep. Then John took Marley home in a big black bag. Then John woke up early and went to dig a hole in the ground and put Marley in it. He didn't tell the kids yet. My favorite part was when Marely threw up on the fancy rug.
