Tis' the season to be berry. Blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries are back in season at the Old Town Newhall Farmers' Market. Become a frequent visitor every Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Market Street between Main Street and Walnut Avenue. Shop from professional grocers, for healthy wholesome produce and flowers grown in local fields from Oxnard to Temecula.

"What is for dinner?" Tonight, make a fresh fruit salad, from the grocers at the Farmers' Market. You will also find year round produce, such as tomatoes, carrots, soybeans, cabbage, lettuce, and spinach. Tom Rush and the Lovell Sister (May 16)
As the man who arguably paved the way for the folk-pop sound of the '60s, Tom Rush's decades-long impact on the American music scene has been profound. His distinctive guitar style, wry humor and warm, expressive voice have made him a legend with audiences around the world, and his Club 47 concerts helped propel into stardom such artists as Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Joan Baez, Shawn Colvin and many more! For more information, visit canyons.edu/offices/pio/canyonspac/rush.html.

Los Lobos (May 29)
Broke into the mainstream music scene with its stirring rendition of the Richie Valens classic "La Bamba" for the big-screen movie, but began in 1973 as Los Lobos Del Este Los Angeles. The band has evolved into a respected artistic entity searching for themes and topics that are an interpretive pulse of our times. For more information and to purchase seats, call (661) 362-5304.
