Friendly Valley Bible study
Who: Dr. Stan Fix at the Friendly Valley Community Church (United Methodist).
What: Pastor Fix will present Lutheranism in the "Christianity's Family Tree: What Other Christians Believe and Why," an eight week study exploring the many Christian churches, why they are so different from one another and the essential beliefs or practices they share in common. As we learn about the faith of Christians who worship and serve in ways that seem different or unfamiliar, we can in fact learn more about our own faith.
With a sense of respect and mutual learning we will discuss what God might be saying to us through the lives of other Christians. All are welcome.
