Conservatives are not robots

If it wasn't so ridiculous, it would be laughable.

I'm referring to liberal assertions that conservatives are merely robots parroting Rush Limbaugh's talking points.

To underscore the fallacy in that assertion, let's look at an April 16 Associated Press (AP) story on the national tea parties (AP is the embodiment of a national liberal propaganda mill that supplies most small and medium-sized newspapers and radio stations' national and international news content).

"GOP Hopes to Build Momentum Behind ‘Tea Parties'" introduces a story that attributes the tea parties to the Republican Party and its former leaders. Downplaying the nearly-spontaneous populist origins of the protests and ignoring the fact that protesters are conservatives, former Obama supporters, libertarians, women, men, children, students, and minorities, the reporter tries to tie the revolt against big government and big debt to the GOP.

The current state of the GOP makes it utterly incapable of orchestrating a coordinated national tea party movement.

Liberals refuse to accept that Americans don't want a Marxist government mired in generational debt with massive government control that, by its obvious foreign policy naiveté, encourages the very enemies we must contain.

Far from parroting Rush's talking points, what we want is to have Barack Obama just go away.

Patriots are tired of being forced to play the victim in a Marxist's version of "Animal Farm." Instead, we want to preserve freedom and a culture that people worldwide are in awe of.

Former Prime Minister Tony Blair once said: "A simple way to take the measure of a country is to look at how many people want in and how many people want out."

Remaking America in Obama's and Jeremiah Wright's image would surely bring about the calamity that only liberals can spin as "change we can believe in." And liberals call us robots.
