Metrolink changes schedule for Labor Day

Metrolink commuter trains will run to downtown Los Angeles on Labor Day, but not on their regular schedules, Metrolink officials announced this week.

Two round-trip trains will run on the Antelope Valley Line. The first, train 262, departs Lancaster at 8:55 a.m. and arrives in Los Angeles at 11 a.m.

The second, train 268, departs Lancaster at 2:25 p.m. and arrives in Los Angeles at 4:30 p.m.

Los Angeles-to-Lancaster train 263 will depart Union Station at 11:40 a.m., while train 269 departs Union Station at 5:25 p.m.

Regular service resumes Sept. 2.
