Santa Clarita to host public meetings on manufactured home park rent

The City of Santa Clarita will host three public comment meetings to discuss draft updates to Santa Clarita Municipal Code 6.02, which pertains to Manufactured Home Park Rent Adjustment Procedures. The meetings are open to all mobile home park residents, park owners, park managers, and the general public. Meetings will be hosted by City staff on September 2, 3 and 4, 2014 at convenient locations around Santa Clarita.

The upcoming public comment meetings will introduce the draft update and provide residents the opportunity to weigh in on draft updates to the Santa Clarita Municipal Code impacting rent adjustment procedures for manufactured home parks. The meetings will be held at the following locations:

Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Old Town Newhall Library, located at 24500 Main StreetWednesday, September 3, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Century Room at City Hall, located at 23920 Valencia Boulevard. Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Canyon Country Library, located at 18601 Soledad Canyon Road

Residents are encouraged to attend the public comment meetings to share their thoughts and suggestions on the draft document.
