What do you want to see and do in Santa Clarita?

That’s the focus of a new city public poll designed to allow residents a chance to weigh in on what they like about Santa Clarita and what they would like to see improved or changed.

“The city of Santa Clarita was founded on the principle of providing an open and non-bureaucratic government that is receptive and responsive to the needs of the community,” Mayor Laurene Weste said.

“That commitment stands today, and the public survey provides another way for residents to speak up about what they want to see and do in the city, weigh in on current services, and play an active role in shaping Santa Clarita.”

The poll will be conducted by phone and online, and the city hopes to collect responses and feedback from the entire community, according to officials.

“Survey results will be analyzed and taken into consideration as the city maps out public services, amenities and infrastructure planning throughout the coming years,” reads a news release from the city.
