Saugus bond added to county ballot

Los Angeles County supervisors voted Tuesday to add a bond measure for the Saugus Union School District to the county’s ballot in November.

Saugus district board members voted earlier this month to put a $148 million bond measure up for a vote in the upcoming Nov. 4 election. Tuesday’s vote from the Board of Supervisors consolidates the vote on the bond measure with the county’s ballot for that election.

A bond would help the district repair and modernize its schools and help address its continuing technology needs, according to officials.
