(Santa Clarita, CA) – Santa Clarita resident Stacy Fortner is proud to announce her candidacy for the Castaic Lake Water Agency Board of Directors after officially filing her paperwork on Friday, August 8. Fortner is seeking an at-large position on the CLWA governing board.

“Managing our water supply is one of the most important issues facing the Santa Clarita Valley and California as a whole,” said Fortner. “As a member I will create a board whose decisions are more visible and transparent to the public and use my expertise in the field of high technology to move CLWA toward greater management of resources.”

Fortner is a 16 year resident and homeowner in Santa Clarita. She is a Senior Account Executive with a high tech firm in Irvine where she helps organizations solve their business goals and challenges by leveraging technology.

CLWA is a public water wholesaler that provides about 50 percent of the water that Santa Clarita households and businesses use. The election will be held November 4, 2014.

Stacy Fortner is married and has a 12-year-old daughter in the William S. Hart School District.
